And then there were four! When The Road tour bus pulled into Nashville for the semifinal round, only Adam Sanders, Britnee Kellogg, Cassidy Daniels and Channing Wilson remained in the singing competition, but one of them was going to be eliminated and just miss out on being a part of the finale.
The final four did a set at the legendary Bluebird Café with Keith Urban before heading to the Marathon Music Works for their two solo performances. An added twist for the night was pairing up Adam and Britnee on a duet of “Keep Your Hands to Yourself” by The Georgia Satellites and then Channing and Cassidy for a duet of “Jackson” by Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash.

Once again, Blake was unable to make the concert, so the guest judges for the night were the Osborne Brothers joining Keith and “tour manager” Gretchen Wilson in critiquing the artists. At the end of the night, the bottom vote getter was eliminated. The grand prize for winning The Road is a slot at Stagecoach, a recording contract and $250,000.

Who finished at the top on The Road tonight?
After the votes were tallied, the three finalists were Adam, Cassidy and Channing.
“It’s the best I’ve seen every one of you perform,” Keith said, “so, I was proud, especially of the originals, and the covers were spot on. Channing, you killed it tonight.”
Who was in The Road bottom tonight?
“The audience were great tonight, they really responded, but it is a Nashville audience, so their standards are pretty high,” Keith said. “Obviously, the voting reflected that. Based on the audience votes, unfortunately, Britnee, Marathon Music Works is your final stop.
“But I want to say to you, you’ve survived nine weeks, so the name Britnee Kellogg now is known by so many people, so I want to say congratulations. That’s extraordinary. I hope we get to see more of you.”
“This experience has been life changing,” Britnee said. "It’s been incredible. Of course, for a 40-year old like me this is my only opportunity, so it’s sad. I am going to continue playing shows and being a mama and continue to inspire other moms to do the same.”
The Road airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and streams next day on Paramount+.
