AthFest Educates recently unveiled the full lineup for the 2026 AthFest Music & Arts Festival, with a mix of hometown standouts and nationally recognized acts set to anchor the downtown Athens event to be held June 26-28.
Headlining this year’s bill are jam favorites Perpetual Groove, funk outfit Funk You, and singer-songwriter Stephen Day, alongside marquee appearances from David Ryan Harris and a My Morning Jacket-linked set featuring Tyler Ramsey and Carl Broemel.

Now in its 28th year, AthFest will again spread across downtown with three free outdoor stages and its late-night Club Crawl, a ticketed series of shows in 14 local venues.
The festival serves as a major fundraiser for AthFest Educates, which supports music and arts programming for K–12 students across Athens-Clarke County. Last year's event raised more than $65,000 for music arts and education in Athens.

A full weekend of music across downtown
Music runs throughout the weekend, starting Friday evening and continuing through Sunday night, with more than 150 acts scheduled across genres including indie rock, hip-hop, Americana, and funk.
In addition to the outdoor shows, the Club Crawl will bring artists into venues such as the Georgia Theatre, 40 Watt Club, Live Wire Athens, and Flicker Theatre & Bar, with one pass granting access to participating performances.
Tickets, passes, and costs
It doesn't cost anything to get into AthFest. The outdoor stage performances are free and open to the public throughout the weekend.
Club Crawl passes, currently about $35 and rising to $40 in June, cover both nights of venue shows. Limited VIP packages, priced around $185, include expanded access and viewing perks. There are no single ticket sales for shows at individual venues.
More than music
In addition to concerts, AthFest includes a juried artist market featuring more than 50 vendors, a KidsFest area with performances and activities for children, and a dedicated Gospel Stage highlighting local performers. The festival also incorporates affiliated events such as the Athens Art Book Fair and community yoga sessions throughout the weekend, expanding its reach beyond music into a broader celebration of local arts and culture.
