Stars Titus Welliver, Trevante Rhodes, Li Jun Li, and Elizabeth Lail will join the duo to round out the chapter's cast.

Season 3's cast featured Basso and Evans-Akingbola, as well as Louis Herthum, Amanda Warren, Ward Horton, David Lyons, Jennifer Morrison, Stephen Moyer, Genesis Rodriguez, and Callum Vinson.

The installment followed Peter as he was called in to track down a young treasury agent who fled to Istanbul with sensitive government intel after killing his boss. This kicks off a sequence of events where Peter investigates a dark money network while avoiding its paid assassins, while putting him on a collision course with a relentless journalist. Working together, they uncover buried secrets and old grudges that threaten to bring the government to its knees — and get them both killed in the process.

The season ended with Peter's boss, FBI deputy director Mosley (Albert Jones), telling the agent he would be getting a partner.

There's no word on a release date yet, but Ryan previously said he would like to get new seasons on the streamer quickly. *The Night Agent *will likely still follow an annual schedule with 10 episodes, meaning viewers won't have to wait long between seasons 3 and 4.

"This cadence is easy," Ryan told *Deadline*. "Compared to all the network stuff I did back in the day, you would have just finished making 22 episodes and before you're even done doing post on that final episode, the writers room is starting up for the next season. When I was doing *The Shield *and *The Unit*, I think I made something like 44 episodes of TV in a calendar year. So this is nothing compared to that."

*The Night Agent *is available to stream on Netflix.
