Michael Strahan and his longtime girlfriend Kayla Quick welcomed a baby girl earlier this year.

The news anchor and Quick have been together since 2015.

Strahan is now a father of five.

Michael Strahan is officially a father of five. The Good Morning America anchor, 54, welcomed his first child with girlfriend Kayla Quick, 36.

TMZ broke the news on August 27, reporting that Strahan and Quick’s baby girl arrived “earlier this year.” Strahan shares daughter Tanita, 34, and son Michael Jr., 31, with his ex-wife Wanda Hutchins. He also has two 21-year-old daughters—Isabella and Sophia—with his second wife Jean Muggli, though they divorced in 2006.

Strahan and Quick, 36, have been together for over a decade. The couple prefers to keep their relationship private, as the last time they were photographed together was in 2023, when Strahan received a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.

Back in 2016, Strahan spoke to People about his blended family. “My kids give me strength,” he said. “I love being with the kids. To me, it’s all about family, now more than anything.”

Michael Jr. and Tanita were raised separately from their younger half-siblings, but Strahan said that he’s “proud” of the fact that the four of them are still “very close.”

“You worry how the kids will mix and blend, but brothers and sisters are brothers and sisters regardless of different mothers,” he shared.

Strahan also touched on his breakup with Hutchins, who moved to Germany with their children after their 1996 divorce.

“I think a lot of times when you split, people assume that the mother is supposed to take responsibility for the kids. But from day one, it was very important for me to be active, to be a part of their life,” Strahan explained.

“I was constantly on planes and phones. And it’s very hard—of course it’s hard with them being in Germany,” he added. “But one thing I learned is, you make time for what you want to make time for.”
