The Simpsons’s Maggie finally speaks, and she’s... Lindsay Lohan!

On Sunday, the actor made an unexpected—and truly historic—cameo in the popular cartoon show, as the voice of Maggie, the youngest Simpson.

Lohan shared a still from the Sunday episode on her Instagram, featuring a scene of the family of five panicking while in a car with Bart behind the wheel. She wrote, “Catch me on#TheSimpsons this Sunday on FOX! What a dream come true to be part of this iconic family 🙏.”

She then shared a clip from the episode itself (season 37, episode 11), which saw a grown-up Maggie finally speak out to call out her brother, Bart, for being a bad driver.

“Please! Don’t let Bart drive, it’s too scary. He drives so wiggly and everybody honks at us and yells bad words and shows us fingers!” Lohan’s Maggie says in the surprising scene.

We never imaged what a grown-up Maggie would sound like, but Lohan’s voice is the perfect fit.

Maggie has been depicted as a baby throughout most of the show’s more than 35 years on air, so the episode—titled “Parahormonal Activity”—is certainly one to remember. (The title may also be a nod to Lohan’s cult-classic film Freaky Friday.)

“Finally Maggie speaks!” one person commented in the post.

Another noted,“Baby Maggie was once voiced by Elizabeth Taylor. Grown kid Maggie being voiced by Lindsay Lohan... who once played Elizabeth Taylor... iconic.”

Elizabeth Taylor indeed voiced Maggie’s first-ever word in the show: “Daddy.” Others who have voiced her include James Earl Jones, Viola Davis, and The Simpsons’s Harry Shearer.

“Only icons have voiced Maggie 😍,” a third fan commented.
