During a special Christmas Eve episode of the New Heights podcast, Kylie Kelce shared how she’s feeling after Swift officially surpassed her as the most-viewed guest in the show’s history. Her answer was simple, upbeat and very on-brand for the mom of four: she’s happy for Swift.

The update came when Kylie Kelce joined her husband, NFL legend Jason Kelce, and his brother, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, on the podcast. Jason Kelce checked in directly, asking how she was doing after losing her long-held spot at the top.

“Great, great,” she replied without hesitation, before adding, “I’m always cheering on Taylor and everything that she does. So the fact that I finally got dethroned, it was welcomed.”

Kylie Kelce had previously held the record for the most-viewed episode in New Heights history following her September 2023 appearance, which pulled in nine million views on YouTube. That changed in August when Swift made her podcast debut in a two-hour episode.

Swift’s appearance quickly became a viral moment, passing Kylie Kelce’s view count in less than 24 hours and climbing to more than 24 million views to date. The episode covered Swift’s relationship with Travis Kelce and her decision to reclaim her music masters, drawing massive attention from fans of both pop culture and sports.

Rather than showing disappointment, Kylie Kelce made it clear she saw the milestone as a win all around. She pointed out that she has always supported Swift, who is engaged to Travis Kelce and will soon be her sister-in-law.

The Christmas Eve conversation wasn’t the first time Kylie Kelce addressed being “dethroned.” One day after Swift’s episode dropped, she joked about it on her own podcast, Not Gonna Lie.

“Officially no longer the record holder for the most watched episode of the other podcast,” she said at the time. “There’s no way it’s even close, and I love that for me.”

She also acknowledged that she knew her record would fall the day before Swift’s interview aired and said she welcomed it fully. At the end of Swift’s episode, Jason Kelce even joked about Kylie Kelce’s former top spot, saying he thought she enjoyed being the No. 1 episode for the time she had.

For Kylie Kelce, losing the record didn’t feel like a loss at all. It was simply the next chapter in a podcast that continues to grow and a moment she was happy to share with someone she openly cheers for.
