The actress has expressed openness to having more children, saying she "can't imagine" being done yet

Kate Hudson kicked off her summer in the best possible way.

The Running Point star. 47, shared a few pictures on Instagram recapping her recent family trip to Athens, Greece. In the photos, Hudson showed her and her kids enjoying nights on the beach, days by the pool and other outings together.

"Perfect start to summer @ooaesthesis ✨," she captioned the post, which featured her daughter Rani, 7, and son Bing, 14. Her older son, Ryder, 22, was not pictured in the snaps.

The Hollywood star welcomed her first child, son Ryder, with her ex-husband Chris Robinson in 2004, followed by her second son, Bingham, whom she shares with her former fiancé Matt Bellamy, in 2011. Hudson's family grew once again in 2018, when she gave birth to her first daughter, Rani, with her fiancé, Danny Fujikawa.

Hudson previously joked about the fact that each of her children has a different father during a January 2021 appearance on Sunday Today with Willie Geist, saying, "I've got multiple dads, I've got kids all over the place."

She spoke further about her relationship with her kids' three fathers in a November 2022 interview with The Sunday Times. "It might not look traditional from the outside, but on the inside, I feel like we're killing it," Hudson shared.

The actress added, "The unit that I've created with three children with three different fathers is a seriously strong unit, and it's ours."

Hudson loves being a mom and is not shutting down the idea of potentially welcoming another little one in the future.

During her appearance on Kylie Kelce's Not Gonna Lie podcast, Hudson bonded with the mom of four, 34, about the joys of having children. She revealed to the podcaster that she "could have so many kids," noting that she "can't imagine" being done just yet.

"I could have so many kids," she told Kelce. "I even think about it right now. I'm like, 'Am I totally done?' Because I just can't imagine being done."

"It's a weird thing to think like, 'Oh, no. I'm done having kids,' when you love having kids," she continued. "It gets a little scarier when you start to watch them, [and] when you start to have to let them go because you want them to love themselves and then you want them to make good decisions out in the world. So, you get a little bit of that, 'Oh, man. I just hope they are good.'"

That wasn't the first time the actress opened up about wanting to expand her family. During a 2020 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Hudson said she was open to having more children.

"I don't know if I'm done," she said. "I'm in that place of like, right now, Rani is at that age where you're like, 'I want another baby.' But once she gets like 4 or 5, you're like, 'I feel like my life is kinda back a little bit [and] they're kinda in a groove.' It's weird … it's like a window."

Hudson spoke again about the possibility of having more kids during an interview for Byrdie's "After-Dark" digital issue in December 2022. "I've been having children my entire adult life," she explained. "I've got my 4-year-old, and I've got a kid in college. And I don't even know if I'm done yet. You know, I don't have that answer yet."
