Josh Hart is shooting down the rumor that he and the rest of the New York Knicks starting lineup were invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding.

On Wednesday, Page Six reported that recent champions Hart, Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges, and OG Anunoby were on the star-studded guest-list. The group had just made quite the impression on Swift, pulling off the greatest comeback in NBA Finals as the singer went wild courtside in her "Stevie Knicks" T-shirt.

Knicks reserve big man Jeremy Sochan saw the news about his teammates online, prompting him to write, "What about me?" He tagged Hart on social, asking, "Can I be your plus 1?"

Surely Hart's wife, Shannon, would have something to say about that, but it turns out to be a moot topic. Responding to Sochan, Hart declared, "lol bro this fake news."

Who knows, maybe Brunson cost them their invite by defending Knicks broadcaster Monica McNutt after she dissed Swift.

Less than a month after Hart and the Knicks won the franchise's first championship since 1973, their arena will be home to an even bigger event than the Finals: Swift and Kelce's nuptials. The musician and the football star are staging an epic ceremony at Madison Square Garden on Friday.

As the day approached, the guest-list continued to remain a mystery, but attendees are now being identified as they arrive at the Garden. Among those now confirmed to be on the scene are Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Dakota Johnson, Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff, and Swift's crew from the memorable Knicks game: Mariska Hargitay and the Haim sisters.

With Swift not coming through for the Knicks champions, here's to hoping Hargitay fulfills Brunson's wish of scoring a *Law & Order: Special Victims Unit* role.
