"Take care of your lovely mother, Jack, this Mother’s Day and always," a third said. "She has been through too many trials by fire and has stayed true to her principles and herself."
The appearance on Schlossberg's Instagram page comes days after the former U.S. ambassador stepped out for a reception thrown by The King's Trust's Global Gala on Wednesday at Christie's in New York. The event was held during King Charles III and Queen Camilla's state visit to the U.S.

Through early 2026 the famously private Kennedy had largely remained out of the spotlight following her daughter, Tatiana Schlossberg's, death in December. Schlossberg was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in 2024 and penned a heart-wrenching account of the disease's impact on her loved ones for *The New Yorker *in November.
"Mostly, I try to live and be with them now," she wrote of her family and how she was spending her final days. "But being in the present is harder than it sounds, so I let the memories come and go. So many of them are from my childhood that I feel as if I’m watching myself and my kids grow up at the same time."

She continued, "Sometimes I trick myself into thinking I’ll remember this forever, I’ll remember this when I’m dead. Obviously, I won’t. But since I don’t know what death is like and there’s no one to tell me what comes after it, I’ll keep pretending. I will keep trying to remember."

In February, Kennedy was portrayed by Grace Gummer on *Love Story: John F. Kennedy and Carolyn Bessette*, which was a dramatization of the relationship between Kennedy's late brother and her sister-in-law.
Schlossberg said he showed his mother a clip from the miniseries and she "was laughing so hard." When asked by Katie Couric what moment from the show had them laughing, Schlossberg couldn't recall the exact scene*.*
He mentioned that "the person was freaking out and we're just laughing so hard as if that that's how my mom acts." "People [need to] keep in mind it might be entertaining, but it's fiction."
