Julia Louis-Dreyfus is ecstatic to be joining Arnold Schwarzenegger as a famous *White Lotus* parent.

Louis-Dreyfus' son, Charlie Hall, has been cast in season 4 of the HBO hit, which is currently in production in France, and the young actor is opening up about how he told his mom and dad (former *SNL* cast member Brad Hall) about the role.

"She was my first call," Hall told the *New York Post*. "I heard her put the phone down and talk to my dad, like, ‘Charlie got it! He got it! He got it!' She was trying to keep calm, because I was pretty calm.”

Hall added that his parents are "insanely stoked" because *The White Lotus* is "one of their favorite shows."

A former college basketball player at Northwestern, the 29-year-old made his acting debut in an episode of another celebrated HBO hit: his mom's show *Veep*. In the years since, he's put together a good résumé of recurring arcs, appearing on *Love, Victor*, *The Sex Lives of College Girls*, Bel-Air, and *Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story*.

Hall is currently starring opposite Tatiana Maslany as a series regular on Apple TV's *Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed*.

'The White Lotus' season 4 cast: Meet the stars checking in, from Helena Bonham Carter to Max Greenfield

Once again written and directed by creator Mike White, season 4 of* The White Lotus* will follow a new group of White Lotus hotel guests and employees during the week of the Cannes Film Festival. In addition to Hall, the cast will include Vincent Cassel, Chris Messina, Steve Coogan, Heather Graham, and Rosie Perez.

“I know I’m biased, but I think it could be really the best one yet," Hall teased. "It’s very classic* White Lotus*. Everything feels funny, while still feeling really real. It’s kind of more of the same, in the best way possible, with some twists and turns along the way.”
